Alan J. Bloch, D.P.M.

Born and raised in SE Michigan. After graduating from the University of Osteopathic Medicine and Health Sciences – College of Podiatric Medicine and Surgery, in Des Moines, Iowa,  he moved back home to do his post graduate training in Podiatric Medicine in the metro Detroit area.  He then completed a Podiatric Surgical Residency at POH Medial Center.  After finishing his training, he has focused his practice to treatment of various skin and nail disorders, wounds of the foot and lower leg, sports medicine and offers surgical options for foot deformities.

Dr. Alan Bloch provides foot and ankle care to Northville, South Lyon, Farmington Hills and surrounding communities.  He has been in practice since 2000.  His friendly staff and personalized gentle foot care make him the perfect choice for all of your podiatry needs.  Dr. Alan is board certified by the American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgery, the American Board of Podiatric Medicine, and the American Professional Wound Care Association.  He is a Fellow of the American College of Foot & Ankle Surgeons. He focuses on educating his patients of their foot condition(s) while offering both conservative and surgical options.  He is affiliated with several Michigan hospitals and participates in Podiatric residency training and is also Clinical Assistant Professor for Michigan State University.  His offices have digital x-ray and he uses the latest technologies including yellow dye laser for chronic warts, and performs minimal invasive surgery for chronic heel pain / plantar fasciitis.
